Edinburgh Fashion Week: Bringing Spring/Summer style to life

Running between March 7 and 15, this year’s Edinburgh Fashion Week is a must for anyone looking for the latest trends for spring/summer 2015.

The launch event is takes place on March 7 and 8 on the Mound, and will see the precinct transform into a bustling fashion hub, showcasing the city’s unique and diverse shops. Visitors are invited to experience a packed programme of free fashion shows, informal workshops and expert tutorials, all hosted by Edinburgh’s favourite high street retailers, designer boutiques and independent stores.

The event features high-end stores such as Oliver Bonas, LK Bennett, John Lewis, French Connection, Harvey Nichols and Walker Slater, as well as local independents including Covet, Sam Brown, Armstrong’s Vintage Emporium and much more.

Edinburgh Fashion Week is not just about the high street brands – it’s also pleased to support local talents. A fashion show and exhibition from the graduates of Edinburgh College of Art will showcase some of the city’s most talented young designers, including the likes of Bryony Strange and Kirsty Frew.

Edinburgh Fashion Week’s exclusive VIP offering means a select number of visitors can enjoy the event in style. Available for every show during the opening weekend, VIP guests will be greeted with either a glass of Prosecco from G&V Hotel or a bottle of Menabrea beer on arrival. People can also enjoy having full access to the ANTA VIP reception area one hour before the selected show before they take a front row seat. VIP guests won’t walk away empty handed either; as these lucky ticketholders are given an exclusive Edinburgh Fashion Week goodie bag.
