QUARTERMILE GOES EXTRA MILE FOR CHARITY
A team from Quartermile who donned their trainers to take part in the Great Edinburgh Run have raised over £3,000 for the city’s homeless charity, FourSquare.
A team of 22, including staff members as well as many of Quartermile’s contractors from property agents to designers, joined thousands of runners to help raise funds for charity.
Aisling Dunphy, sales and marketing director, Quartermile said: “The Great Edinburgh Run starts and finishes right on our doorstep so we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to raise much needed funds for this very worthy cause.”
Bob Stewart, FourSquare, added: “We are extremely grateful to Quartermile for their donation. The money raised by their fantastic efforts will be shared amongst our services for homeless young people. This money is crucial in order for us to offer extra services and equipment that our main funding currently does not cover, such as purchasing sports gear, musical instruments and PCs. It will also be put towards spending quality time with young people, for example taking them for a coffee and a chat or to the cinema.”
