Quartermile wins award for Best Mixed Use Development

Gladedale Capital was celebrating last night after being named Developer of the Year at the Scottish Property Awards. The event held at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, paid tribute to the most triumphant Scottish projects and developments over the past 12 months within the property industry. The event held at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, paid tribute to the most triumphant Scottish projects and developments over the past 12 months within the property industry. Gladedale Capital is the commercial property development division of the Gladedale Group, one of the UK’s leading housebuilders and property companies. Current projects by Gladedale currently under way include Lochrin Square in the heart of Edinburgh’s financial district, which will consist of two prominent office buildings and will deliver over 96,000 sq ft of new office space. The company has also just lodged plans to create a new £150 million , 389,000 sq ft development across three new office buildings on Glasgow’s Broomielaw. Gladedale Capital was honoured twice on the night as Quartermile was named Best Mixed Use Development. The spectacular £400m redevelopment of the former Royal Infirmary is one of the UK’s largest and most exciting urban regeneration projects. Masterplanned by world-renowned architects Foster & Partners, Quartermile will blend the capital’s heritage with contemporary new buildings to create an exciting new residential and business community.
